Actress Cassidy Freeman played Tess Mercer in Smallville! Cassidy also guest starred in CSI: NY and The Playboy Club.
According to TV Line, Cassidy Freeman will make her first appearance on Vampire Diaries in episode 16 of season 3, which will feature 1912 flashbacks (coincidentally the same year the Titanic set sail on its fated voyage). To add to the mystique, Freeman will be playing a character named Sage who has been described as “sexy and fearless, with a devilish smile.”
